What does whole wheat bread taste like? Does it taste like wheat? 3
I'm not asking if it's good or bad, it's all relative. What am I asking, can anyone tell if this is ridiculous? Better? Tasteless .....?
Whole wheat rye flour is whole rye flour (it has more horns than ordinary rye flour and it has all the grains) so it tastes like rye. However, the flavor that most people associate with whole grain bread is cumin. Most rye contains cumin, but less than rye bread, so it tastes a little lighter. Pumpernickel also contains some other ingredients like caramel syrup and coffee to deepen it. Personally, I prefer cheeses because they are sweet.
It tastes like whole wheat bread, but it tastes good with whole wheat bread and then you have to remove the aroma of cumin, but the taste is more similar with chives.
In my opinion, chaos is the worst thing that can happen on earth. I tried 45 years ago. I am 58 years old and whenever I hear the word Pomernickel I can taste this Pamernickel bread tea. It's so bad I have to put it in one of my tastes. Maybe that's why I can feel the word whenever I hear it. So avoid trying pumpkin bread all your life. Leave it on the store shelf.
Whole wheat bread has a taste that is hard to describe. I crushed it the first time I heard about it, but when I tried it I went to buy a piece of uncut bread, strangely enough with spinach sauce.
Take a piece of bread and dip it in the sauce and I ate almost everything, I like it. Give it a try and see for yourself.

This is rye, but deep. The American variety is different from the German variety, which is softer, denser and thinner. I like light rye for sandwiches. Try both.
It doesn't taste good, so why not buy a whole grain loaf or bagel and try it yourself.
I think this is the bread they offer in Outback. If you have, give it a try
Sauerkraut (roasted cabbage)
It's very similar ... if you can handle one, you'll like the other.
