How many stamps do I need for a 12x9 Manila envelope? 3
Contains 10 pages. And I put a stamp of four .42 cents on it. that's enough? I can't go to the mail right now ... but it's very important that I post.

I guess that's more than enough, but I'm not sure. You may know that I'm not sure you can throw large items in the mailbox that you still have to carry to the window (annoying, etc.). They will weigh, measure and say how much? You can pay the right amount. Or you can paste the stamp as usual.
The 19-way Manila envelope weighed 3 ounces on my small scale some time ago, and I use it to send eBay items, so it's perfect for shipping. I just wrote the 43 cents stamp I have, that's more than enough.
