Simulated Texture - How To Discuss
Simulated Texture
What is the difference between artificial texture and real texture in art? 3
Original texture = You have used original objects in your artwork, e.g. B. Wood, plastic, metal, fabric, paper or other textures?
Imitation texture = use paint or color elements to represent other elements. Since you can paint a piece of construction paper to look like flannel, it will still feel like construction paper. The texture of the fabric on the canvas makes the eye look foolish.

Imitation is the illusion of real texture. In other words, the work may seem smooth, but it feels rough. Texture is actually the physical presence of the structure, not the illusion (that is, it looks rough).
