Some Acadia GMC models have a control function called DIC (Driver Information Center) that allows you to adjust and reset the screens, such as the Oil Lage gauge. However, there is a way to rearrange the Oil Life counter even if Akadia does not have a DIC. When the life expectancy of oil reaches 10%, a warning of a change in oil may appear. After changing the oil, reset the counter so that the light goes out.

1. Sit on your Acadia. Turn the ignition on or off to turn on the odometer. Locate the DIC controls on the dashboard with the steering wheel. There are four ounces, one of which has a lower case. 2. Press the lower housing i until the odometer shows the rest of the oil life. Press. Hold the icon for a few seconds and hold until you hear three beeps. This resets the oil life counter.
Acadia model without DIC!
1. Make sure the Acadia is up, then start the engine. 2. Tap the reset trip. This label lid is in the corner of an odometer case. Tap until you can see the rest of the oil life. 3. Press E-LED Trip Reset until you hear three beeps. This notifies you that the oil gauge is being rearranged.

Reorganizing the oil life system
1. After turning off the engine, turn the ignition on / off.
If the vehicle is equipped with a Driver Information Center (DIC): Press the button
