French Bulldog Dry Nose - How To Discuss
French Bulldog Dry Nose
My French Bulldog's nose is very dry.
The tip of my French bulldog's nose is so dry it is almost dry. Her nose has been like this ever since a friend gave it to me. Does anyone know why this happens and how can I get it?
To updateI saw him a few times at the doctor, he said there was nothing to worry about.
I have tried petroleum jelly but it disappears immediately after use.
I use a balm bag on my French nose. Comes in a small green box, you can sometimes find it in health food stores or try it (they sell similar products). There is also a manufacturer's website. Buy the smallest box (it will last a long time), very cheap ($ 5). Persistence is like petroleum jelly but seems to last longer / is better absorbed, smells good (at least for humans) and is not oil like petroleum jelly. I apply as needed, which can only be done every few days in hot weather, but every day in winter. A little tea is enough, but it should be ground (usually too much twisting).
Just the dry smell of things, don't worry !! It just means that your French (or any other type of sci-fi, with a runny nose) is normal !!

What is your hydration? This is usually when the dog is dehydrated. Vaseline can help. I'm going to see the vet. If the dry nose is good as you describe it, it can mean long term illness.
I have an American Bulldog. The doctor said that Vaseline was fine.
Check with the doctor, but apply Vaseline on your nose :) And don't worry, this is a real dog, don't listen to this man

I searched the internet for answers. This does not necessarily mean that your dog is sick.
For example, they help.
Use Vasilen or Crisco, you might want to talk to a doctor, but that's fine.
My doctor has prescribed a pacifier for me, if you search Amazon you will find that it works very well. The suggestion of vitamin E comes very close to the pacifier with mucus. I'm sure if you don't pay for the pacifier it will work.
