A gift card / certificate that you can use to find your account. As if I have opened an e-trade account, my family can buy me an e-trade gift certificate that can be credited to my account, or Scotrade, share builder, options, fidelity, td ameritrade etc. Buy? Thank you very much :)
I doubt it. But they can only transfer money to your account!

Brokers cannot and will not provide certificates and / or gift cards.
You must open an account online or in person for someone else by depositing a check into the account. You will need to provide the recipient's tax identification number along with other personal information.
