Why do I see "ads" on all channels on my Comcast cable? 3
All my channels call for advertising. Any help is welcome.
Whenever your decoder loses power, it also loses program information (TV guide) ...
However, cables, connections, splitters, signals and even device issues can prevent the device itself from downloading TV guide information (comcst does not provide, it is a TV guide) ...
When you have finished your work, unplug the box and reattach it when you return. Make sure all connections are secure and the cables start from the wall or go straight to the decoder, not the first VCR or anything else. If the problem persists, call 1800Comcast.

I have Comcast. You need to rearrange your box. Please disconnect for a moment. Apply it again and you will be fine. This has happened to me a few times after a brief power outage.
Doloaded would be a more appropriate term. Decoder took several hours to download the program guide. If you have tried to plug and reconnect the box and the problem persists for more than 3 to 4 hours, connect to Comcast and ask them to reconfigure the box.
