Well, we bought a Me Mae scratch card for fun. I have to put salt ice cubes outside my mom to cool down (like ice cream used to do). I am only in SP, and there is only one type of rock salt and millions of sea salt. Sea salt has a consistency similar to rock salt. Can I use it in Mae Slush to get the same result? Your local supermarket may have rock salt. I know how to make good ice cream that is getting good pickles. I don't know if sea salt does it at the right time. We had snow for a few weeks, and using kosher salt, I struggled to find the right mix of ice and salt. Next time I will use rock salt.
