Overall excellent year in fuel economy, reliability, etc. 2006 was the best? Or did they use it to fix it?

I drive the KE20, KE38 (station wagon), KE70 sedan, AE86 and T18 hatchback. I think the best is the KE70 (1984) 1.6 liter, 5 sd, lots of options, I was 165,000 miles away when I bought it.
