Trying to solve the physical problem that is about preserving the solenoid area. The question is:
A magnetic coil with a length of 10.0 cm and a diameter of 0.400 cm is wound evenly with 800 turns. The second 50.0 turn coil is wound around the solenoid.
So I have to find mutual inductance.
I know how to do it, but I don't know how to get there. Help?

The area you are applying for is the cross-cut solenoid area.
A = (pi) r 2. Since the diameter is 0.4 cm, the radius is 0.2 cm. Remember to convert to meters (use SI unit only)
