If it shows up, move on. If not, proceed. Transferring photos over Wi-Fi: One of your best options for moving photos off of your Android device is to use Google’s Photos service. Drag all the photos you want onto your computer desktop

The easiest way to transfer photos is to simply drag them onto your computer’s desktop. Once they’re there, you can upload them onto social media or whatever platform you want. Then it’s as simple as copying and pasting into your new phone. Drag all of your favorite images into a folder on your desktop, and then copy and paste that folder into iTunes or Google Drive, whichever sync tool you choose.

Your photo collection should be ready for download in no time at all! If you don’t want to use iTunes or Google Drive, another option is Dropbox. With a free account, you can upload multiple folders full of pictures at once and even access them remotely through your smartphone if needed.

Whatever method you choose, transferring photos from an Android device to an iPhone shouldn’t take more than five minutes. It’s not exactly easy—and there are easier ways to get files off your old phone—but it works. When all else fails, remember.

Open up iMazing, Select file transfer Option

Start by downloading and installing a free app called iMazing on your computer. Then, plug in your phone and open up iMazing. It will recognize your device and ask if you want to use it for file transfer or backup; select file transfer. You’ll be presented with a list of folders you can access, so tap on Photos & Camera. Select all of the pictures that you want to move over (if there are any) and drag them into iTunes.

This is going to take some time—iTunes will sync with your device, which means there may be some lag as your phone gets new instructions from iTunes. Select Which Photos you want to Move Over

Copy them over to your phone
On your computer, find and select which photos you want to move over and copy them over to your phone. From here, you can save a few steps by setting up an iCloud account. Just head on over to iCloud and sign up for one. On both your phone and computer, make sure that iCloud is turned on (it should be by default).

Then use Finder or Windows Explorer on your computer; access My Documents, My Pictures, or wherever your photo folder is located; and drag and drop all of your photos into a folder within that directory. When you’re done, connect your phone to iTunes and sync it with your computer. When iTunes asks if you want to transfer files from your computer to your device, click yes and let it do its thing. That’s it! All of your pictures will now be safely transferred to your new iPhone!

Unmount your phone after transferring is complete

After you’ve successfully copied files from your Android phone, it’s time to safely unmount your phone. To do so, power off your device and then reboot it; when it boots back up, hold down the home button (this will display a list of options) and select unmount SD card. Doing so will confirm that you won’t accidentally overwrite any new files on your SD card.

Of course, if you need to transfer photos and videos back onto your card to free up space on your phone or tablet, just repeat steps one through four in reverse order. That’s all there is to it! You can now go about using your Android as normal without having to worry about losing important data. Good luck!
