A Piano Mover Raises A 100 Kg

Help with problems with the physical pulley system? 3

A piano moves a 100 kg piano at a constant speed using a smooth pulley system. Approximately how much force does the motor apply to the rope?

To update

How do you solve it?

F = mg / 2 = 100 * 9.81 / 2 = 981/2 = 490 N

The piano has two strings, and so m, two equal upward forces, F and T. We know that the sum of these forces is equal to the force of gravity

F + T = 2F = mg or F = mg / 2.

Problems with the pulley system

The woman's effort = work on the body dissolves with F x d = m g h after mg = 80 N 20 x 1 = 80 x d d.

Gravity pulls the piano with a certain force, and since the piano is not accelerating (constant standard deviation), the force exerted by the motor is the same as gravity pulling the piano.

F (gravity) = M * g then 100 * 9.81 = 981 Newtons. Therefore, the engine takes 981 Newtons to pull the piano!
