Painted Over Cable Outlet
w Clean the coaxial wall socket? 3
So I have two places where you can put coaxial cable for internet, cable or anything else, and for some reason the last Einstein who lived here painted them both. When the paint gets there, is there any way to save them? If so, please let me know. If not, can I replace it or should I bring a mechanic here?
You change. It's not too expensive, and if you like it the most, remove the panel and attach the cables to the back of the panel, such as the front TV room. 2s, new parts, small spinner and screwdriver. You both do, and that includes a cup of coffee.
I recommend replacing it. You can work to remove all ink from the wires and try to remove the ink from the file, but this may depend on what was painted.
Changing them can be much easier than you think. If the paint from the panels hits the wall, use Xacto to trim the panels so they don't peel off when you remove them. Took another plate. Then remove the connection from the back and the wall panel and reattach the panel to the wall. You can.
I agree with peace. You can buy a new front panel for less than $ 2.00 and install it in less than 2 minutes.
