For CENTCOM's Overseas Service Bars for Regional Services, you will receive 8 months credit for the period January 15 to August 15.

You do not include days. You will add months in the same way for multiple assignments.

If you combine the days, you will make the same mistake as Malron by reading too many rules. The paragraph (AR 6701, paragraph 2828e) mentioning the increase of days is for the World War II Service Commission.

The paragraph citing St. Com Zone (AR 6701, paragraph 2828d (12) (14)) is calculated on a monthly basis. As you said, the month of arrival and departure is calculated on a monthly basis. Yes ... Slash for every 6 months is the number of months per use to determine the number of months running the bus abroad.

While in your example 2 years 1 month 5 days may be the time you physically spend in the area of CENTCOM, Overseas Service Bar Credit is calculated differently. Since you did not include a calendar month in your instance, it could be anywhere from 26-28 months ... 4 times.

It is calculated every month, but what motivates them is the days. 30 days is equal to one month, that is, seven months and one day from January to August.
